Thank you for your message, Amie. I appreciate the interest and input you have provided, as a representative of your community. While I do not know what the final outcome will be in this situation, please know that we have and are continuing to give this situation significant consideration. We do desire your patronage, along with the rest of the Midtown community. I can assure you we are committed to being a part of the wisest and best outcome for the benefit of Cumberland Presbyterian, potential customers in Midtown Memphis, and Chick-fil-A.
Best regards,
Marianne Creamer
I recieved the same response as well. Have there been any official developments? I see that the 'for sale' sign is still up.
yep, i was just coming on here to post that response. the same.
Sorry for the length of this, but I thought some might find this interesting.
This is the response I received today from a message I left on the CFA website some time last week.
Not sure what to make of this.
Thank you for taking the time to contact Chick-fil-A. You are very important to us, and we appreciate your message regarding the Cumberland Presbyterian building on Union Avenue in Memphis. As you are aware, this building and land are for sale. Chick-fil-A hopes to complete the transaction in the near future and begin construction on one of our beautiful free-standing Restaurant locations. We know in your heart you desire to preserve the building; however, it is inevitable that someone will purchase the property. Chick-fil-A is strongly committed to building connections in the communities where our Restaurants are located. We hope when the store is open, you will notice and enjoy the nice employees that are hired and be able to see families experience a meal together in a clean atmosphere. Although we know it will not be the same building you have enjoyed over the years, we hope that in time you will take pride in your new community Chick-fil-A. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Sincerely, TamaraChick-fil-A CARESChick-fil-A...We Didn't Invent The Chicken,Just The Chicken Sandwich. On the Web at www.chick-fil-a.com P.S. Please retain your Thread ID in the message body.
