Beautiful Court Square
Memphis should be proud of the beauty that is Court Square.
But as Jane Jacobs observed, the beauty and amenities of a park aren't enough if the adjoining neighborhood lacks use and time diversity. More on that later.

oh cool, you went up in linc-am. were they letting people up in the spire? i missed the open house.
no one goes to court square because of the bums and hustlers.
It almost makes me miss living downtown... :)
nathan, I got inside the roof, as far as the spiral staircase that led to the hatch that led to the spire, before they told me to stop. Blast!
i have some night shots from the spire somewhere... yours are much nicer though. i love that staircase thought.
oh, and just to let you know, it's not a cupola. a cupola would be a domed structure like on the army hospital. i'm not quite sure what to call the top of the lincoln american.
