Return of Main @ Jefferson
I went to the Lowenstein Building opening on Wednesday and was happy to see this great project completed.
Also cool to see its across the street neighbor, the Courtyard Marriott ascending at Main @ Jefferson. This is the visualization.
And this is the actualization, still in progress.
Hugely exciting to see the rebuilding of that corner.
I hope the local buildings can collaboratively use the new space and energy on the street.
By the way and along the way, this is what happens when you treat the street as incidental:

Its good to see the corner back. What happened to the cornice, Its been yelling at me since I saw the renovation last-'where the hell is the cornice on that building' I'm sure there was one there at one time, do we have picutres of it? Is the developer coming back to place it?
Very nice pictures, downtown is filled with these beautiful buildings that are waiting to be renovated.
Thanks Emily. Waiting to be renovated and this proves it can be done.
matalac, I'll check the GoM vaults but they don't go back that far. Was the cornice there in the past few years?
